The Worship Director serves on the Worship Team at Sun Valley Community Church (SVCC). This position leads worship at their assigned campus and works with the Central Services Worship team to build and execute engaging Christ-centered musical worship experiences. In all actions, this role reflects the SVCC team leadership distinctives.
Essential Functions:
- Lead and cultivate a culture of Christ-centered worship at the assigned campus, ensuring musical worship aligns with the mission, vision, and values of SVCC.
- Recruit, train, and retain volunteer teams, fostering both musical excellence and spiritual growth.
- Create and facilitate engaging, high-quality worship experiences through intentional planning, rehearsals, and collaboration with worship and production teams.
- Provide pastoral care and spiritual leadership to worship team members and the congregation, fostering a sense of community and discipleship.
- Collaborate with the Central Services Worship team to maintain consistency, creativity, and excellence in worship across all campuses.
- Engage in ongoing personal and professional development to strengthen musical, leadership, and ministry skills.
