Job Description
The Worship Director will oversee all elements of our Sunday morning worship services. This position requires experience leading worship and a commitment to supporting and developing volunteers. The Worship Director will provide support for the Tech and Creative Teams as we strive to cultivate, produce, and execute intentional worship experiences for Collective.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead the Production Team (Band and Tech) to ensure a seamless and smooth worship service each week, both in-person and online
- Work with the Media and Creative Teams in planning and implementing creative ideas into social media and on Sunday mornings
- Contribute as part of the Production Team, working with the Media and Creative Team to create intentional worship experiences
- Oversee other areas within Collective’s organizational structure to support our vision of being a church for the rest of us, as determined by the leadership team
Desired Competencies and Skills
- Proficient in singing and guitar, keys, bass and/or drums
- Proficient in transposing and charting songs
- Experience leading teams and worship at multiple services
- Experience using MultiTracks and Ableton
